there's a lunar eclipse coming soon which is kinda near to my birthday.
NASA reported on Tuesday that a total lunar eclipse will occur on 21 December 2010.It is reported that it will be visible after the midnight EST on 21 December 2010 in North and South America.It is also added in the report that when the sun will rise in North Europe the total eclipse will be visible.In Japan and northeastern Asia,the end of the total eclipse will be visible rising at the sunset.Just after the sunset this eclipse will also be visible in Philippines.
The last total lunar eclipse occurred on 20 February 2008.In the last three years it will be the 1st total lunar eclipse.
When does lunar eclipse occur?It occurs when the moon passes behind the earth.The earth blocks the rays of sun that are striking the moon.This occurs exactly when the sun,earth and moon are exactly in a line.
